This was a fast simple birthday gift we made for one of our friends who was taller than my little guy. I started with this cape pattern. Then added neck tabs with velcro.
Print up the standard Superman logo and trace it onto to stiff felt, the background is just yellow cotton. I traced it in reverse so all my pencil marks can’t be seen. Stitch them together then onto the cape. Voila, easy fast and inexpensive.
