Fancy Nancy – Late Late Night

Hi all,

It was Literary Day at school this last spring and of course my kiddo wanted to be her favorite person Fancy Nancy so we copied a dress from the book “Fancy Nancy and the The Late, late, LATE night.” by Jane O’Connor and Robin Preiss Glasser.

Simple costume, you might have all the parts if your daughter is as “Fancy” as mine or loves Fancy Nancy.

Cheap crown from the craft store adorned with gold pipe cleaners, Movie star sunglasses, tons of beaded necklaces and bracelets from the thrift store. Vintage white gloves from my grandmother, and cut out yellow stars tapped on. Dress was hand me down. Not sure where it comes from, no discernible tag. The boa sleeves were way better for school than an actual boa. Voilà!
