Rapunzel Dress & Hat tutorial

tangled-rapunzel-lifesized-standup-1rapunzal_dress_lepetitearbre

The Rapunzel dress is a modified from the basic Cinderella dress. I did not like the Simplicity pattern version of Tangled. I cut three front bodice. One is to line, one is for front, the last is cut in half and folded back with button holes and tacked to the front and folded back. The peek a boo color in front skirt it an extra skirt section cut in the shape of a triangle gathered as small as possible at the top and added in. The dress has tons of extras, lavender ribbon lace around the waist, delicate lace around the neck and wrists, ribbon tie up the front, lavender ribbon striped sewn to each sleeve as well as an added slip and lace trim underneath it all.

This Rapunzel hat has become very popular for both little girls as well as adults. I’ve received such a great response to these crocheted hats. These are crocheted by hand with 40 hand cut felt flowers. If anyone wants me to email them the tutorial, send me a message and I will gladly send it to you. This tutorial is for personal use only, not for resale.
